Minutes of FSA Board Meeting
Sunday, January 9, 2011 7:00-8:30 pm
Present: Troy Temple, Shelly Prieve, Bob Palmquist, Steve Kletschka, Pat Dudley, Joe Schleis, Tammy Anderson, Tim Schmidtke, Missy Plante
Missing: Doug Zahn
Secretary’s Report: November 7th meeting minutes approved. NOTE: send minutes to the Board
Treasurer’s Report: gave us the balance in the checking account; our share to the complex maintenance bill ($8500) has yet to be paid; $1500 insurance for 2011 should be in the budget, Carlander Family has donated $825 for concessions equipment.
Fundraising Update:
- Spring: Ballard’s and any additional prizes( LaCanne’s $50 gift card, Grand Stay for one night $140 about, $200 cash???), need to file with the State Gambling fee yet $150
- 7 tickets given to each Assoc family at $10 a piece
- Drawing at end of May, receive tickets at the April 3rd team mtg
Soccer Complex Update:
- Lights: applied for a $100 000 grant, will likely hear by the end of the month, bid was approx $125000
Uniform Options:
- The Adidas Tabella 11 uniform was chosen.
- Lanzera for the U9-U10… green jersey, white jersey, socks and black shorts with numbers
- Sellner’s (Karen Bussert printing) print the numbers and logo
Registration Update:
- Flyers went to all Faribault schools, public and private, except for BA (never anyone there to hand them to)
- Blanket email also went out
- Fee goes to uniform, maintenance of complex, team registration to MYSA, player registration and insurance to MYSA, tournament fees, districts, and the refs at the home games
Coaches Mtg:
- Take place before the Team mtg—March 13 at 7 pm Washington Center
- Required
- Make sure everyone is on the same page with: expectations, rules, policies, background check, Shattuck practice, tickets
- Create a coaches committee: Steve Kletschka, Missy Plante
