Minutes of FSA Board Meeting

Board Members Present:  Troy Temple, Shelly Prieve, Tammy Anderson, Pat Dudley, Steve Kletschka, Tim Schmidtke, Doug Zahn, Missy Plante
Board Members Absent: Brendan Cox
FSA Guests: Bob Palmquist, Tim Wayland, Patrick Ermer
       

Fundraising:

• Bob gave us the details on the fundraiser raffle.  We discussed adding prizes and decided against it for this year.  Bob will be giving each soccer family 5 tickets to sell.  More information coming.

Players, team formations, coaches and recruitment:
We went over all the teams and discussed what was needed for each from who has registered as of Feb 7th.  To recap:

• U16 girls:  12 have registered; coaches:  Tim Wayland, Dean ?, Pat Ermer, Courtney Vail?;  play on MW
• U13 girls:  13 have registered; coaches: Troy Temple, Jennifer Murphy; play on TR
• U12 girls:  13 have registered; coaches: Pat Dudley and ???; play on MW
• U10 girls:  10 have registered; coaches:  ???; play on  MW
• U9 girls:  8 have registered; coaches:  ???; play on TR
• Goal:  need to recruit a few 10, 11 and 13 yr olds

• U18 boys:  9 have registered; coaches:  Missy Plante;  play on MW
• U16 boys:  19 have registered; coaches: Jason Johannsen, Steve Kletschka, Jake Roberts?; play on TR
• U15 boys:  22 have registered; coaches:  Bob Palmquist, Pat Dudley; play on MW (this is a change due to email) possibly break into 2 teams if can recruit more
• U12 boys:  16 have registered; coaches:  Rick Stadler, Tim Wagner, Jason Johanson;  play on TR
• U11 boys:  12 have registered; coaches: Steve Kletschka, Louis Hayton; play on MW, decided on moving up 4 10 yr olds because traveled with them last year bringing the total to 16
• U10 boys:  this leaves 9 registered; coaches:  ????; play on TR
• Goal:  need to recruit more 13, 14, 15, 18 yr olds

Meeting adjourned at 1:45 pm.
Next Meeting is March 7, 2010 at the Washington Center starting at 7:00 pm.
