Minutes of FSA Board Meeting

Present:  Troy Temple, Brendan Cox, Pat Dudley, Tim Schmidtke, Tammy Anderson, Steve Kletschka, Missy Plante, Ann Weinkauf, Bob Palmquist
         Missing:  Doug Zahn, Shelly Prieve



Secretary Report:  Minutes approved from November Meeting
Treasurer’s Report: Tim Schmidtke is receiving everything from Ann Weinkauf (past Treasurer)

Registration update

  • Postcard Mailers will be sent out for 2010 registration.
  • Flyers will be delivered to 3-5 grade elementary schools.
  • The Daily News will give registration information for us.

Uniforms:

  • The Uniform process will be the same for this year.
  • We will use uniforms from Select Gear for 9-10 Traveling.
  • This is the last year for the current style for the Addidas uniforms.It was discussed to have the association keep the uniforms. Players would get a uniform and then turn them back in. This would eliminate cost for the players.

Fundraising:

  • It has been decided not to have a Golf Tournament Fundraiser. A Raffle ticket is being put together as a fundraiser. It was decided that this may be a better fit for our organization.

Complex update :

  • Bathrooms should be functional by mid to late June if things go as planned.
  • All FSA teams will be able to practice and play games at the soccer complex this year.

Soccer Camp:

  • A soccer camp the first week of August was discussed. SSM said they would be happy to run the camp at our soccer complex. More will be discussed on this later.

Meeting adjourned at 9:00 pm.
Next Meeting is February 7, 2010 at the Washington Center starting at 7:00 pm.
